CLAT-2017 Admit card will be available for download from today 10pm onwards

Admit cards for CLAT-2017 examination will be uploaded on the website i.e today, 10 pm onwards. All those aspirants who have registered for the CLAT exam can download their admit cards. The last date for submitting applications was March 31. The exam will be conducted on may 14 (Sunday).

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted every year for students who wish to pursue their career in law. Currently there are 18 NLUs (National Law Universities) who will be accepting scores in CLAT 2017.List of Universities accepting CLAT-2017 scores.

Steps to download admit card

  • Open the official website of CLAT-2017 i.e
  • Check for the link “Download Admit Card”
  • Enter the relevant details.
  • Download admit card.
  • Save it for future reference.

CLAT which is an India common law entrance exam is given by students who want to take admissions into various Undergraduate law courses.

The paper will be split into various sections –

  • English – questions from the language and skills of reading, writing, (comprehension passages and grammar, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, error correction).
  • General Knowledge – Questions from static gk (general knowledge), current affairs (national & international) will be asked.
  • Numerical Ability – This section will test candidate’s knowledge on elementary mathematics, i.e., maths taught up to 10th Class/standard.
  • Legal Aptitude – Questions on Research aptitude and problem solving. Questions may include legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied.
  • Logical Reasoning – Questions on syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, Alphabet Test, Calendars, Situation Reaction Test, Statement – Arguments, Direction Sense Test.

Important dates

  • CLAT 2017 Online examination for UG & PG – 14th May, 2017 (Sunday), 3 PM to 5 PM  
  • Declaration of Results – 29th May, 2017 (Monday)
  • Publication of first indicative seat allocation list based on merit-cum-preference – 5th June, 2017 (Monday)
