JEE Advanced 2018: Know the total number of seats in IITs

Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2018 is being conducted by IIT Kanpur this year on May 20, 2018. Official notification reads 2,24,000 candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2018 would appear in the entrance examination.

At present, the IITs have about 10,988 seats across all the IITs. So essentially, out of the 2,24,000 students appearing in the JEE Advanced, about 11,000 students would qualify that gets the success rate down to ~ 5%. There would be an online counseling and students pick and choose the available courses across IITs in the country. Each institute has its own cut-off.
