JEE – Mains 2018 Exam Notification Released. Application forms will be available from Dec 1st, 2017 on jee main 2018. The 6th Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2018 will be held on April 08, 2018 (Sunday). Candidates can make 3 attempts for JEE-Mains.

Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is one competitive entrance exam, which is conducted every year for the admission in various B. Tech engineering courses.. In the recent years, IIT JEE has changed its pattern from a single exam to 2 exams namely, JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced). Aspirants who will clear the Mains paper will be allowed to sit for the Advanced paper.

JEE-Advanced 2018

Candidates who fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria will be able to appear for JEE-Advanced exam –

  1. Minimum qualification required –  Must have passed in final examination of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination.
  2. Those appearing in these examinations in 2018 can also appear in JEE (Advanced)- 2018 provisionally.
  3. All the candidates aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate programmes at IITs and ISM Dhanbad for the year 2018 will have to appear in the Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2018.
  4. Based on the performance in Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2018, top 2,20,000 candidates (including all categories) will be eligible to appear in JEE(Advanced)-2018.

Note – Candidates, who have attempted JEE (Main) /JEE (Advanced) earlier, are not eligible to appear in JEE(Advanced) – 2018 examination. While candidates who had taken admission in any institute other than IITs & ISM Dhanbad in 2017 is eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)–2018 provided that the candidate satisfies other eligibility criteria.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the admit cards today for JEE – Mains 2018, aspirants are advised to visit the official website link.

The JEE Mains 2018 exam paper will be of 3 hour duration. The question paper is divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The computer based test and the pen & paper based entrance exam is held on separate dates.
